Sarlat - OMG! This is medieval heaven!
When we decided we wanted to stay in a French village, we just did some googling and Sarlat came up as a possibility. I feel as if I've died and gone to heaven! We arrived about two hours ago and have just returned from a little walk to find a supermarket for milk and fruit. Everywhere we looked, we were both exclaiming and holding our breath. It truly is amazing. The photos don't do it justice! We are in a building that was built in 1100 and all around us are old stone buildings dating back to medieval times.
